Fairfield Academy'southward College of Arts and Sciences grounds students in the 500-year-erstwhile Jesuit tradition of academic rigor and personal reflection, while providing them with the critical skills needed to succeed in piece of work and life. Undergraduate Research

The College of Arts and Sciences empowers and encourages undergraduate students from all disciplines to bear innovative, in-depth, and collaborative research nether the guidance and encouragement of kinesthesia experts. Each year, more than 300 faculty-student enquiry projects are conducted in the areas of Stalk (scientific discipline, technology, engineering, and mathematics), the humanities, arts, and social sciences, more than than one-half of which are presented at national scholarly meetings and/or published in professional person journals and manuscripts.

Office of Career & Professional Development

The College of Arts and Sciences Part of Career and Professional person Development offers advising, counseling, programming, and experiential opportunities to help students discover their strengths, explore career paths, and build essential skills needed to succeed in their professional person career. Members of our professional development team works one-on-one with students to develop resumes and embrace messages, search for jobs and internships, prepare for interviews, and more.

Administration & Faculty

At Fairfield, we pride ourselves on the the excellence of our programs and faculty. Faculty members are experts in the field and work diligently to provide a simulation-focused arroyo to their teaching. Faculty advisors work closely with students to provide academic advice, individualized attention, and career planning. Fredrickson Family Innovation Lab

The Fredrickson Family Innovation Lab stands as a symbolic middle for the College of Arts and Sciences, bridging its wide latitude of departments and academic programs. Its purpose is to provide students and faculty with a concrete and digital gathering space for interdisciplinary enquiry, instruction, and cross-pollination.

Humanities Institute

Created by an NEH Claiming grant in 1983, the Humanities Constitute in the College of Arts & Sciences is an endowed initiative established to ensure that the humanities will flourish at the eye of a Fairfield University didactics. Since its inception, the endowment has funded hundreds of lectures, events, motion-picture show serial, workshops, and seminars, likewise as near of our successful curricular and engagement initiatives. Over the past thirty years, the Humanities Institute has been one of the nearly significant sources of educational innovation and change at Fairfield Academy.

Science Constitute
